Dark Cure could have easily resided in the Chamele Barbarian Warlords series. The hero, Oghul, is a Chamele warrior. He is one of the Warlords’ second-in-command.
I placed it in the Refuge (Dark Thoughts) series because Oghul’s brother lives in the Refuge. The story starts in the Refuge. And the heroine, Gisella, is the Refuge’s head medic.
There are also many appearances by other individuals in the Refuge, including Kralj and Dita.
