Throwback Thursday – B Free
B Free is emotional, yes. I gravitate toward writing stories that hit me right in the feels. (grins) And B, the hero, is the last known B Model. He’s…alone in that very specific way. So his story grips me in a very special way.
But it is also a fun story. There are zombies (or the Humanoid Alliance equivalent). And there’s a space librarian heroine. It is full of adventure and laughs and love. (smiles)
B Free
B is the last remaining B Model cyborg. All of his brethren, the beings he trained with, fought with, cared deeply for, have perished.
Or so he believes.
When he intercepts a communication mentioning the existence of one of his kind, he has to investigate its source. The message could be a trap set by his enemies. He’ll take that risk if it secures him the companionship he requires to be fully functional.
What he finds is a daring brown-eyed female who activates all his systems. She proudly proclaims she’s a researcher, brandishing that information like a weapon before her. He wants to kiss the sass off her beautiful face, protect her from the dangers around them, claim her forever.
Quinn is on a quest to locate the mechanics of an early-version cyborg. She believes the information captured within that frame will give her valuable insights into the past.
When her mission goes zombie-like beings levels of wrong, she comes face-to-face with a living, breathing B Model. He has big hands, a primitive countenance, and stern hard lips crafted for kissing.
She doesn’t trust him. And she doesn’t have time to indulge her desires.
Their shared enemies are chasing them, would kill to get their precious specimens back. One minor mistake could reduce B and Quinn to a mere line in the databases of history.

Throwback Thursday – Baring Grudge
I LOVE blowing things up on page. (grins)

Big Badda Boom (<–Fifth Element reference).
Both the hero (Grudge) and heroine (Taelyn) of Baring Grudge love blowing things up also. Taelyn is attempting to blow up a space station with Grudge in it at the beginning of Baring Grudge.
This is TRUE enemies-to-lovers. It also has found family as there is a young stowaway on Taelyn’s ship. Baring Grudge is SO MUCH FUN. (smiles)

If one of your favorite cyborg romances is Releasing Rage, I suspect you’ll love Containing Malice also.
Malice has been trapped in an underground Humanoid Alliance laboratory. He doesn’t realize his cyborg brethren are free. He doesn’t realize cyborgs have genetic matches. He doesn’t realize they can have kids.

Malice, the hero of Containing Malice, has been imprisoned in an underground laboratory and has unable to hear the transmissions from his cyborg brethren. He doesn’t realize they are all now free.
For him, time has stopped. The mass cyborg rebellion hasn’t happened.
This is, of course, a nod to the POWs here on Earth who were released long after their wars had ended. The rest of the world had returned to ‘normal’ life. But for them, their wars had continued.
