One of my buddies loves hats – big hats, small hats, fancy hats, plain hats, old hats, new hats, any type of hat. They are a simple thing but they give her great joy.
And joy is priceless during these turbulent, sometimes dark times.
This joy is easier to capture and to keep if they originate from the small things – a nice hat, dew on a tree leaf, a decadent piece of chocolate, an often-read well-loved romance novel.
