Ghost is, without question, my most broken cyborg hero.
When Lethe, his female, meets him, he is absolutely feral. He isn’t processing anything other than to kill…and her. She is the only being who can reach him. She is the only being he would never damage.
And she is the only being who truly understands him.
Because she’s a bit broken also. (As many of us are.)

Ghost is one of my favorite cyborgs. He is so very broken. His ‘gift’, when we first meet him, has become a curse. He is haunted by all the beings he hasn’t been able to save. The emotional damage that has caused him has turned him into a beast, operating on instinct alone.
Lethe, his female, is the only being who can reach his shattered brain and disconnected processors. She is attracted to him, of course. Who wouldn’t be? (grins) But she also wants the ship he has ‘captured.’
Lethe and Ghost are magical together. The pain they’ve both endured makes their bond even tighter.

I adore Ghost. This C Model is so very broken and he is key to…well…EVERY cyborg romance I’ve written. He is the cyborg who saved Joan, Rage’s female, the very first found cyborg female. I love him to bits and he was in my thoughts while writing many of the cyborg romances.
I think Lethe is the only female who could have put him back together again after the universe shattered him. He’ll never be a fully functional cyborg. There is a legitimate reason why he and Lethe and their family is isolated on their own planet. But Lethe accepts his damage. She loves him even more for having survived his traumatic past.
