I continue to have fun with the Super Secret Project. I should finish the first draft of the fourth installment this week. It is SUCH a joy. I wish for you all to experience happiness like this, my friends. I’m reveling in the sheer thrill of creating and having a blast while doing so.

Can love redeem a monster?

The Refuge is home to some of the most violent beings in the universe. Kralj, its leader, reigns over the remote outpost with terrifying ease, ruthlessly squashing any rumors of rebellion, killing anyone who breaks his rules. Throwback Thursday – Chasing Mayhem

Kralj, the all knowing, all powerful Ruler of the Refuge and hero of Dark Thoughts, makes an appearance in this story also.

Mayhem has spent his lengthy lifespan obeying the Humanoid Alliance’s rules. Finally free from their cruel control, the cyborg warrior plans to cause chaos. Cynthia Sax Weekly Update – January 18

I got a little distracted this week with non-writing fun. (grins)

And I don’t regret it.

Because…fun.

Joy is to be cherished. Always.

But I am back to playing with the fourth installment of my Super Secret Project. This writing project is fun also. I am enjoying it so very much.

Have a wonderful week, my friends. (big hugs) Have a bit of fun also. Make a goofy face at a furbaby (yours or someone else’s) and watch how they react. Write a mysterious message in a steamed up window. Tell a VERY bad joke. Wear socks with penguins on them. Make the world a more enjoyable and random place. (smiles)

Read A Cynthia Sax Book, Put A Meal On A Table

A portion of everything the Dear Wonderful Hubby and I earn is used to help others.

We started doing this when we first met. We were each working three non-writing jobs, trying to pay bills. But we knew we should help other people who had even less than we did.

Because I was once one of those people.

My family went hungry.

Yes, here in Canada.

I needed A LOT of help to escape that level of poverty.

And I wanted to give back.

The Dear Wonderful Hubby and I are still giving back…with your help. A portion of every book sale is used to help others.

As of December 31, 2025, for example, we have helped to provide 28,500 meals through food banks.

We have planted trees. We have grown corals. We’ve sent postcards to residents of senior citizen residences. And we’ve given back in other ways.

Thank you for allowing us to do this.

Cyborg Sizzle Escape Omnibus

Crash was manufactured to be one of the best warriors in the universe. The cyborg has spent many human lifespans fighting the enemy. But, unlike his battle-loving brethren, he doesn’t enjoy killing. When he escapes the Humanoid Alliance, he vows to never end another life.
Then he meets Safyre, an infuriating human female, and he considers breaking his vow.

Defying Death

Cyborgs don’t show emotion. Death learned that lesson early in his long lifespan. To survive, he hides his fierce passions behind a stoic wall. He calls no warrior friend. He never admits to caring for any being.
Even the human female he’s destined to love.

Chasing Mayhem

Jumping Barrel

Barrel requires an Expert for the Tau Cetian orphans. He’s looking for a female who is willing to commit to a lifespan-long role, who is comfortable with moving off planet, and who, preferably, has the ability to speak the offsprings’ first language.
His female, however, is looking for a hero.
