I was a cyborg romance reader LONG before I was a cyborg romance writer. The reason I wrote Releasing Rage, my first published cyborg romance, is two of my long time favorite cyborg romance writers were taking a break from cyborg romance.
I wrote Releasing Rage for myself.
I liked it so much I thought other cyborg romance readers might enjoy this dark twist on cyborg romance.

Throwback Thursday – Choosing Chuckles
Chuckles is a VERY grumpy wounded warrior. He is constantly in pain. And he is disillusioned with the world. One might say he has a beastly personality.
Bettina, aka Bait, has caused the disillusionment of many beings (most of them evil). (grins) She lies and she tricks beings…all for a good reason.
She is also Chuckles’ destined female.
Choosing Chuckles
A Cynical Cyborg Meets A Bad, Bad Female.
Chuckles hates all humans. In the past, humans betrayed him. That treachery caused permanent damage to his muscular form, resulting in a lifespan of pain.
When the primitive D Model cyborg answers a distress call sent by a pink-and-blue haired, sparkly human female, he knows it’s a trap. He still has to respond to her fake cry for help. She belongs to him, is the one being genetically fabricated for him. But he plans to be her captor, not her captive.
Bettina, aka Bait, works with a team of females, snaring sexual predators in space, seizing their ships and transporting them to primitive planets. As soon as she speaks with Chuckles, she knows he’s not like the others. He has honor, is a being worthy of respect, of caring.
But she can’t let him go. She has to trap him. His dominance thrills her. His deep voice evokes desires she’d never experienced in the past. She’ll risk it all, breaking every rule for one wild encounter with the male she calls Sir.

Throwback Thursday – Seeking Vector
Folks say secrets always come out.
I don’t believe this is true. I think some secrets go to the grave with us. We merely don’t know that has happened because…well…no one knows about them. They are kept secret.

This is NOT the case with Vector’s secret, however. Someone HAS uncovered it.
And this cyborg captain will do ANYTHING to stop this unknown entity from sharing it.
Seeking Vector
A cyborg with a secret… A female seeking the truth…
Vector, the C Model captain of the Freedom, is a cyborg many warriors wish to emulate. He fights fiercely, leads with honor, has earned the respect and loyalty of his crew. Throwback Thursday – Releasing Rage
Releasing Rage was my first cyborg romance.
I wrote it for myself, because two of my favorite cyborg romance writers were taking a break from their series and I needed a new tale. I also wanted to know WHY cyborgs had rebelled against their manufacturers i.e. the humans.

Cynthia Sax Weekly Update – October 5

Cynthia Sax Weekly Update – August 10
I continue to get distracted by the new secret writing project. (sheepish grin). I know. I know. I should focus on the first Moonbeam Duet, get that finalized, and THEN play around with the new project.
But the Moonbeam stories have been written. I know what happens in them. I don’t know what will happen with the secret project. And that is so very exciting!
