My first published Cynthia Sax story was a short story. Stars. My first 50 or so published Cynthia Sax stories were 10,000 words/40 pages or shorter.
I LOVE writing short stories. I love focusing on the core relationship. I love making every word count. I love the quickness to the romantic happy ever after.

Some reading buddies have asked if Emily will communicate with her friends in the future.

Cyborgs value friends and Hazard will definitely encourage his human to chatter with her friends. That will be done over a secured line and it will done safely.

Hacking Hazard And Taking A Risk
Emily, the heroine of Hacking Hazard, packs up her life, says goodbye to her friends and to her job, and sets off on a trip across the universe to possibly become a complete stranger’s mate.
That is taking a HUGE risk. Some might say it is reckless.
But Emily doesn’t view it that way. She isn’t particularly happy with her current life. And she has been given an opportunity to perhaps have the life she’s always wanted.
She takes the risk to obtain that joy.

Hacking Hazard And Teasing
Hazard’s cyborg brethren tease him about chasing every possible lead in his search for his genetic match.
They do this with love. These warriors would die for Hazard and for each other.
And when they uncover Hazard’s genetic match has been found and might be no longer alive, they worry and they grieve with him. That’s the reason for the silence over the transmission lines. And that’s the reason everyone was hustling to prepare his ship.

Hacking Hazard And Believing
Hazard, the cyborg hero of Hacking Hazard, processes his genetic match was out there.
He has been a real pain in Decree’s a$$ due to this focus. Hazard insists on investigating every distress call, examining every debris field, looking for his genetic match everywhere he can.
And that belief he’d find her/him was justified!
I suspect Decree is now starting to believe he’ll find his genetic match also. (smiles)

I LOVE big dresses. You know the type. They are usually the dresses worn by heroines on the cover of historical romances. The dresses have huge flowing skirts and are crafted with a lot of fabric.
Emily, the heroine of Hacking Hazard, loves them also. She wants to be a princess and they are very much princess dresses. (She also loves sparkle which makes them extra special.)
