Throwback Thursday – Dark Fire
I LOVE dragons. A story featuring a dragon shifter was the very first Cynthia Sax story published. (grins)
So, of course, I would grasp onto any opportunity to write about a dragon-like alien warrior.
Dare is that warrior. He is big, bad, scaled and primitive. When he gets excited, he smokes. In a sexy way.
Faylee is his fortunate fated male. Except this little human thief doesn’t feel fortunate at first. She fights him and their passion with everything she has.
But dragons, as we all know, will battle to the death to keep anything and anyone they claim.

Throwback Thursday – Defying Death

Throwback Thursday – Dark Strength
Balvan, the hero of Dark Strength, is the BIGGEST hero I’ve ever written about. He is part giant and all protector. He is also the Refuge’s gatekeeper and he takes that role VERY seriously.

Throwback Thursday – Crash And Burn
In my stories, the main couple (or more) ALWAYS has a romantic Happily Ever After. And this is EVER AFTER, which means past couples (or more) will ALWAYS maintain their romantic happiness.
They will never die or fall out of love.
Everyone else in the stories, however, is at risk. And in the cyborg world, they are REALLY at risk because the universe is engulfed in war.
Beings die during war. That’s a cruel reality.
And not all of those beings are enemies.
Crash was manufactured to be one of the best warriors in the universe. The cyborg has spent many human lifespans fighting the enemy. But, unlike his battle-loving brethren, he doesn’t enjoy killing. When he escapes the Humanoid Alliance, he vows to never end another life.

Throwback Thursday – Dark Thoughts
When Kralj, the rather scary the modified humanoid Ruler of the Refuge, appeared in Chasing Mayhem, I KNEW I had to tell his extremely violent and so very heart-shattering story.
He, like the cyborgs, was designed to kill. Yet, unlike the cyborgs, he couldn’t be controlled.
Because his powers were too tremendous and because his cruel designers isolated him. He had no brethren to protect.
THEN.
He has brethren to protect now. And he does that by killing anyone with his settlement who breaks his rules.
Kralj doesn’t plan to move from that stance.
Even if that means killing the only being who can touch his heavily guarded heart.
Can love redeem a monster?
The Refuge is home to some of the most violent beings in the universe. Kralj, its leader, reigns over the remote outpost with terrifying ease, ruthlessly squashing any rumors of rebellion, killing anyone who breaks his rules. Throwback Thursday – Strike Zone
Have you ever asked for help from someone you believed was an employee, only to find out they weren’t one?
I have. (sheepish grin) Multiple times.
And in Strike Zone, that is what happens to Kesser, the human heroine.
Her friend is abducted. She assumes the tall muscular male in a hooded cloak is a bodyguard and she asks…no, it is worse than that…she DEMANDS he help her rescue her friend.
