Claiming Cure, the third core story in the Dauntless Cyborgs series (releasing in November), is with my Awesome Formatter aka the Dear Wonderful Hubby. (grins) It is creeping higher on his extremely long to-do list so I hope to have it back soon.
I’m continuing to craft Grid Locked, the fourth core story in the Dauntless Cyborgs series (releasing in March). This will definitely be a slower story to write and to edit because it features SO many previous cyborgs and their females. I get to catch up with all those beings before writing their small bits!
(If you’re a Rage fan, Rage and Joan have quite a bit of on page time in this story.)

Claiming Cure
A proud cyborg medic meets his human match.

Cyra has tasks to complete before she dies.

My Awesome Editor returned Claiming Cure, the third core story in the Dauntless Cyborgs series (releasing in November), to me early. I completed those revisions and we both believe it is good to go! Woot!
It still has to be formatted, then reviewed, loaded to booksellers, reviewed again before it is ready for release. But we’re one step closer and that’s worth celebrating!

Cynthia Sax Weekly Update – September 8
I’ve completed the first round edits for Claiming Cure, the third core story in the Dauntless Cyborgs series (releasing in November), and I’ve returned the manuscript to my Awesome Editor. Woot! We are one step closer to release day. (grins)
I also started crafting Grid Locked, the fourth core story in the Dauntless Cyborgs series (likely releasing in March).
I think I have a solid opening to this story! One of the most challenging parts of writing, for me, is finding the best place to start a story. There is SO much going on in a character’s life. Deciding when is the best to join up with them can be difficult. But I think I’ve found the right spot.

Cynthia Sax Weekly Update – August 25

I continue to SLEEP and garden and do not-as-fun administrative tasks. But I’m also starting to think about Grid Locked, the fourth core story in the Dauntless Cyborgs series (releasing likely in March).
I think of Grid Locked as my Avengers: Infinity War story. SO MANY cyborgs and their genetic matches will be back for it. It is super exciting!

Cynthia Sax Weekly Update – August 11

While I wait, I think…well…for this upcoming week anyway, I’ll rest and relax. I’ll putter around the garden with the Dear Wonderful Hubby, admiring the butterflies and the bees. I’ll read and watch movies.
And I’ll also complete the gazillion unexciting administrative tasks that comes with being a self-published writer. My life isn’t all blowing up planets and crafting sexy scenes, unfortunately. (laughs)

Cynthia Sax Weekly Update – August 4
Claiming Cure, the third core story in the Dauntless Cyborgs series (releasing in November), is with my Awesome Editor. I love this story and I really hope she loves it also.
It will likely be about a month before she completes the first round of revision suggestions.
While I wait, I’m chillaxing. (grins) I’m catching up on my sleep. I’m spending time with the Dear Wonderful Hubby. I’m gardening and reading and yes, I’m thinking about the next story, Grid Locked (likely releasing in March).
Have a wonderful week, my friends. (big hugs) Look up at the night sky. Imagine a being on another planet doing the same and seeing Earth (or, more likely, our Sun). Wonder about the vastness of the universe. We are all part of it, are all connected.
