Never Mention It Again

The Dear Wonderful Hubby and I have an agreement.

If one of us doesn’t like a new-to-us meal the other person has cooked for us, we say nothing and simply never ask for that meal again.

Not asking for it again is a gentle way of saying we don’t like it. This doesn’t make the chef feel bad in the moment, after they have spent precious time and effort creating the dish.

The not-optimal meal is merely forgotten and never spoken of again.

I apply this to some other parts of my life.

If I don’t like something, I never speak of it again.
