People often fantasize about terraforming Mars or another planet to enable humans to more easily live there.
That is all it is – a fantasy.
Because our current planet’s, the Earth’s systems are so wonderfully complex and intricate no one fully understands how they work. New facts are uncovered about them almost every day.
There are lifeforms on this planet, for example, no one yet knows exist. And they are doing tasks no one knows is being done to ensure we, humans, can live here.
Terraforming another planet to sustain human life is, currently and for the foreseeable future, a thing that only exists in Science Fiction. It is so far out there that I don’t write about it. Because I can’t explain it.
I DO write about terraforming planets to raid them for resources and to eventually or immediately destroy their life-sustaining systems. We’re doing that quite well currently here on Earth.
