The Dear Wonderful Hubby and I spotted this plant in our travels.
It was growing in a tiny crack in the sidewalk. And it was not only surviving. It was thriving. The plant, a weed some people might call it, was almost as tall as my knees and it is baring fruit/seeds! Look at how healthy and strong it is!
It reminds me of the cyborgs. They weren’t given the best start. The Humanoid Alliance, their manufacturers, hurt them in all the ways a being could be hurt.
Yet they survived. They escaped. They are now thriving. They’re finding lasting love, manufacturing offspring, living their best lifespans.
That gives me hope for all of us. (big hugs)

Their shared enemies are chasing them, would kill to get their precious specimens back. One minor mistake could reduce B and Quinn to a mere line in the databases of history.
