Throwback Thursday – Hers To Command
All my stories are unique but Hers To Command is especially distinctive. It is the only non Male/Female core romance in the cyborg continuum (thus far).
There ARE many relationship constructs in the cyborg world. The cyborgs I focus on seem to all be paired with a singular female genetic match, however.
Except for Ace and Thrasher. These two male cyborg warriors are genetic matches for each other and for a certain ‘in command’ older human female. (grins)
I don’t have a non Male/Female core romance planned for the next part of the continuum (the Dauntless Cyborgs with the first story releasing in February). I can’t predict the relationship constructs for the stories to be told past that.
Three Battered Hearts. One Perfect Love
Ace and Thrasher share a special bond. They’ve never acknowledged that connection and have never fully acted on it. The Humanoid Alliance kill cyborg males like them, deeming the warriors to be defective. Now that Ace and Thrasher have escaped, they don’t trust the cyborg council and their brethren to react any differently. Physical love is too risky for them to consider.

Throwback Thursday – Dark Cure
I write quite a few stories with warrior heroes and heroines. Warriors tend to get injured.
Which means I also write quite a few stories with medic heroes and heroines. (grins)
Dark Cure is one such story. The heroine is a human medic, who believes she’s having a wild one rest cycle (night) stand with a hunky stranger. The hero is an alien warrior (a Chamele), who is determined to claim her. Forever.
A warrior seeking forever faces a medic living in the moment.
Gisella, the Refuge’s medic, is dedicated to her role. She doesn’t have the space in her lifespan for love, a mate, or children. Healing is her entire focus.

Throwback Thursday – Chasing Mayhem

Throwback Thursday – Dark Flight
In Dark Thoughts, the first story in the Refuge/Dark Thoughts series, the hero, Kralj, is dark and ominous and he’s also scarred. He feels like he looks like the monster he is.
Orol, the hero of Dark Flight, in contrast, looks like an angel. He’s beautiful. He has wings. Beings are awed by how gorgeous he is.

Throwback Thursday – Dark Thoughts
Kralj, the all powerful, all knowing dark hero of Dark Thoughts, first appeared in Chasing Mayhem. He is the Ruler of the Refuge and he would be the first being to confess he’s a bit of a monster. He literally EATS his enemies and not in a sexy way.
Dita, the assassin heroine of Dark Thoughts, is also a bit of a monster. She kills her targets and she enjoys dealing out those deaths. She also might be the only being in the universe who isn’t afraid of Kralj.
She finds him sexy. And he doesn’t know what to do with THAT. (grins)
Can love redeem a monster?
The Refuge is home to some of the most violent beings in the universe. Kralj, its leader, reigns over the remote outpost with terrifying ease, ruthlessly squashing any rumors of rebellion, killing anyone who breaks his rules. Primitive, deadly, powerful, he’s a monster, scarred both on his face and his soul. He has never met a being he couldn’t control.

Throwback Thursday – Releasing Rage
Releasing Rage was the very first cyborg romance I ever wrote.
I wrote it purely for my own enjoyment. Two of my favorite cyborg romance writers were taking a break from their series and focusing on other types of stories. I needed my cyborg romance hit. (grins) So I wrote my own story.
I hadn’t planned on publishing it. The story, Releasing Rage, was very dark and sexy and I didn’t know if many readers would be interested in it. But I sent it to my Awesome Editor.

Throwback Thursday – Warlord’s Return
Warlord’s Return officially resides in the Chamele Barbarian Warlords series but it could have easily also been placed in the Refuge (Dark Thoughts) series.
Because all of the action is set in or near the Refuge. Kralj, Dita and their warriors also make appearances in the story.
It is a celebration of the two series and I LOVE that.
Warlord’s Return
Ariq is a barbarian warrior seeking a war.
He locates that battle when he meets Xareni.

Ariq is one of Chamele’s top warriors. A genetic predisposition to fighting, paired with intensive training and experience, has honed the scarred male into an effective killing machine. He loves war, can’t live without combat.
The Succession Wars, however, have finally ended and the Chamele sector is now at peace. Seeking excitement and purpose, the barbarian warrior accompanies his Second to the Refuge, an outlaw settlement on Carinae E. He hopes to locate the battle he’s been craving there.
Ariq finds that conflict and more when he meets his fated mate.
Xareni owes the Ruler of the Refuge a favor. That’s the only reason she has returned to the settlement. She doesn’t like crowds or structures or a certain barbarian warrior who insists on following her everywhere. It doesn’t matter that there’s a connection between them, that he makes her burn with desire, that he looks at her with heat in his dark eyes.
She’s a monster and monsters don’t need anyone.

Throwback Thursday – Warlord’s Mercy
There is a saying in the writing world – a villain is the hero of their own story.
Tolui was the big baddie in the first four stories in the Chamele Barbarian Warlords series. I thought he would always be the big baddie and would eventually be defeated.
Then I got to know him. I realized he cared so much about the beings he led that he was willing to sacrifice everything, including his honor and his life, to ensure they were happy.
That’s a hero. And Tolui is definitely one of those.
He deserves his own story and his own romantic happily ever after.
Warlord’s Mercy is that story.
Other Chameles view him as the enemy.
She sees the warrior hero he never believed he could be.

Tolui is a Warlord in search of a planet to rule. He has been leading his fellow clones in a stealth battle, fighting for both control of the Chamele sector and the right to exist. The brave warriors he commands warrant respect, and they deserve the best.

The tiny human female rescuing him might be as beautiful and as wild as the land she inhabits, but her flowing words, trusting gaze, and enthralling submission won’t stop him from rejoining the war.
After many solar cycles of living alone, Lea is overjoyed when a tall, scarred, muscular warrior falls from the sky. Her savage stranger is strong and severe, and he makes her feel safe, an emotion she hasn’t experienced in a long, long time.
