Intrepid Encounter And A New-To-Us Alien Species
I introduce a new alien species in Intrepid Encounter – the Akkorokapus.
The name Akkorokapus is a nod to both the Akkorokamui, a Kraken-like monster that appears in Ainu folklore, and the extremely clever octopus, one of my favorite creatures on Earth. (grins)
Akkorokapus are humanoids with pink skin and tentacle-covered faces. They speak like a human trying to communicate under water and their birth language doesn’t use contractions…so they don’t tend to use them while speaking the universal language.
There are a gazillion species of humanoids in the cyborg universe and it is always exciting to meet a new one!

Intrepid Encounter
Cyborg vs. Valkyrie
Blood will be spilled and hearts will be captured.
Intrepid and his crew on the Dauntless guard the border to the cyborg sector. The D Model cyborg captain has dedicated his lifespan to protecting their homeland. He’ll do anything to secure the space and keep his brethren safe.

That includes waging war on a tall, broad-shouldered cyborg warrior sporting brilliant-blue eyes and grimly set lips.
The male might…just might…have battle skills matching her own. And that excites the immortal fighter. She craves his rough handling, his punishing embrace, his stern words.
But Olrun’s desire for the cyborg won’t distract her from achieving her goal. She will shield her fellow Valkyries from danger, even if that means ending Intrepid’s lifespan in the process.

Are You 100.0000% Human?
I was chatting with a buddy about how Quinn, the heroine of B Free (releasing in November), looks and acts human, resembles a human except she doesn’t track as human on lifeform scans and she has the gift of psychometry.
My buddy replied, “Some humans here on Earth claim to have the gift of psychometry. Does that mean THEY might not be humans?”
Maybe people here on Earth who have special gifts AREN’T completely human. Maybe a distant ancestor came from another planet, bringing with them these unique powers. That COULD be possible.
Heck, there’s an ongoing discussion about how octopus might have come from space. There’s so much we don’t understand about people, about our world, about the universe.
All I know is Quinn might pretend to be a human but she is truly a humanoid. And she might be the only humanoid left of her kind.

B is the last remaining B Model cyborg. All of his brethren, the beings he trained with, fought with, cared deeply for, have perished.

She doesn’t trust him. And she doesn’t have time to indulge her desires.
Their shared enemies are chasing them, would kill to get their precious specimens back. One minor mistake could reduce B and Quinn to a mere line in the databases of history.
