Throwback Thursday – Warlord Unarmed
Murad, the hero of Warlord Unarmed, is a different type of Warlord. While his brothers rely on battle strategy or fighting skills to defend their planets, Murad relies on the technology he and his Chameles design to keep his kind safe.
Murad is one of the most beta heroes I’ve written. He is secure in his intelligence and he doesn’t need to speak loudly or rattle swords to convince beings to follow him.

Throwback Thursday – Seeking Vector
A wise woman once told me that people who are most different on the inside appear the most normal on the outside.
This is certainly true of Vector, the hero of Seeking Vector. He seems like one VERY uptight cyborg captain. But he has a reason for acting this way – he’s hiding a painful secret.
Kasia, the heroine, loves uncovering secrets. I think Vector senses this and it makes him nervous. It also excites him. (grins)

Throwback Thursday – Defying Death
The cyborgs’ main focus, now that they have escaped their cruel manufacturers and have settled on the Homeland, is finding their genetic matches, the beings they are destined to be with forever and perhaps produce babies with.
Not much is known about these genetic matches…
Until Death meets his scientist female, Tifara. He would do anything, would gladly trade his lifespan for one moment with his little human.
She is extremely intelligent, in an absent-minded mad scientist sort of way. And her area of focus is viruses, which, at first, she believes the pull between them is.
Tifara will soon uncover it is an entirely different type of science. (grins)

Throwback Thursday – Crash And Burn
Crash And Burn is the perfect book to read if you need a good cry, if turbulent emotions are building inside of you and you want to expel them in private so you can be strong for others in public.
I use romance novels ALL the time to manage my emotions. And it works for me! It is like an emotional cleansing.
Crash And Burn was a challenging story to write and I hope not to write another one like it…well…ever but it was necessary.
War is cruel and it is random. Established couples (and more) are safe in the cyborg world. Happy Ever After truly means happy EVER after. All other characters are at risk.
Crash was manufactured to be one of the best warriors in the universe. The cyborg has spent many human lifespans fighting the enemy. But, unlike his battle-loving brethren, he doesn’t enjoy killing. When he escapes the Humanoid Alliance, he vows to never end another life.

Throwback Thursday – Breathing Vapor
Although Breathing Vapor is book 2 of the Cyborg Sizzle series, it occurs over the same time period as Releasing Rage, book 1, and can be read first or on its own.
I think of Vapor as the assassin cyborg. (grins) He is stealthy, can move unobserved like vapor through a terrain, and he’s deadly. He revels in killing, loves battle.
His favorite target is Mira, a curvy human female who is, unbeknownst to Vapor, living a double life. If he is an assassin, she is a secret agent. And no one is quite sure which side she’s working for.

Throwback Thursday – Testing Truth
Whenever I think of Truth, I smile. He is such a chaos-loving cyborg. He rushes into situations with both guns blazing and a big ol’ grin on his handsome face.
Princess Nancy, his female, is perfect for him. Being a royal, she is constantly surrounded by drama and over-the-top ceremony. Her entourage adds to this.
There’s never a dull moment around them. (grins)
Testing Truth
A fun-loving cyborg gets serious about love.

Truth lives each moment as though it were his last. The cyborg warrior rushes into danger, teases beings he shouldn’t provoke, accepts every call of adventure he encounters.
When a prissy little human princess floats into the Rebel structure Truth is occupying, seeking a mercenary to assist her and her unusual entourage, he volunteers to be her warrior. She claims their assignment is dangerous, warns him he might not survive the task.
That is exactly the type of fun he has been seeking.

Throwback Thursday – North Bound
It is summer in my corner of the world. I’ve put in a vegetable garden this year and every time I tend to it, I think of Steve, the male-eating plant ruler of Balazoid Minor. He appears in North Bound and has a love-hate relationship with North, the cyborg hero.
Myrina the Magnificent has a love-hate relationship with North also. She tries to capture him. Multiple times.

Throwback Thursday – Doc’s Orders
Doc’s Orders was written long before the global pandemic and COVID-19 existed. It is part of the Cyborg Space Exploration series and it would have been irresponsible of me not to mention some of the dangers of exploration… especially to local communities.
Would I write a romance dealing with a pandemic today? I don’t know.
I DO love this story. Doc and Allinen are awesome together. And Allinen’s culture is so very special.
And it IS a romance, has that romantic happy-ever-after we expect.
That is always needed. (smiles)
Doc’s Orders
She wants both sides of her cyborg—the medic AND the beast.
A fully functional cyborg is balanced. His machine half and his organic half work together to produce the perfect warrior.
Doc isn’t fully functional.
The G Model operates at the two extremes. When his machine is in complete control, he’s the logic-driven medic, saving lifespans. Once his organics take charge, he becomes the savage beast…and beings die.
Both sides of Doc want to be the first to claim his female.
Allinen is one of the few beings in her small settlement who wasn’t born with a fated mate. Determined to belong somewhere, she has crafted a plan to leave the planet.
That plan doesn’t involve a huge stormy-eyed male who alternates between cool seduction and out-of-control ravishment. Doc isn’t her fated mate. Allinen knows that. But his dual nature and forbidden embraces tempt her to forget forever and indulge in more immediate delights.
