Kim Kardashian’s ‘leaked’ sex tape in 2007 was instrumental in making her a household name. It led to her and her family being offered their first reality TV show. They’ve leveraged that sex tape (which is no longer a tape but simply a recording) into an empire.
If the couple in One Night With My Billionaire Master had been different, their sex tape would have been a one week wonder with no lasting repercussions. But Arianna’s father has made it clear what he’d do if he EVER found out she was having sex with ANYONE. He also hates Logan Ross with a fiery passion.

Sexual Experience Shaming
In One Night With My Billionaire Master, Arianna, the heroine, has a reputation for being a slut. People judge her harshly because of this reputation. They look down on her, view her as ‘less than.’
Ironically, this reputation is bullshit. She’s, in fact, a virgin. But being a virgin creates almost as many issues as being a slut. There’s the perception that every woman her age has had sex. Men expect Arianna to be experienced, might wonder what is wrong with her if she hasn’t slept with other men.
I wish I could say this was a purely fictional situation, that women (and yes, it is mostly women) aren’t judged on our sexuality but we are.
I know plenty of women my age (in their 40’s) who have never had sex. They watch the sexually active women on TV and feel shame (how many 40 year virgins do you see on TV?). They listen to their buddies talk about sex and they either pretend like they fit in or they remain silent.
I also know plenty of women my age whose numbers of sexual partners are in the three figures. They lie about this number or ‘don’t remember.’ They aren’t likely to talk about their one night stands with their happily married friends. They definitely don’t bring it up on first dates.

Financiers, Venture Capitalists, And Other Sexy Money Men
Logan Ross, the hero of One Night With My Billionaire Master, is a financier. If a company needs money, he supplies it… for a price. He also buys shares in undervalued companies he wishes to eventually control.
A venture capitalist, in contrast, normally focuses on newer and growing companies. Both take risks on companies that banks and other institutions wouldn’t. But the money receiving companies or shareholders always have a choice whether or not to accept the financing. There are plenty of financiers and venture capitalists and other sources of financing to choose from (which makes the actions of certain characters in One Night With My Billionaire Master even more despicable).
I have a weakness for hunky money men. I’ve worked for and with several venture capitalists and financiers. Some were wonderful, definitely hero material. Some weren’t.
One venture capitalist changed my life forever. Being a business babe, I spent quite a bit of time on the business forums, sharing knowledge with other business folks. I’ve made quite a few buddies over the years. One of these buddies was JS, a young venture capitalist who made his seed money (his start out money) in technology.
I was one of the few women on the male-dominated forums. JS thought I had some great experience and knowledge. He also was a big supporter of seeing more women start and run businesses.
JS wanted me to blog on business. I was scared. One of my female buddies had run an up and coming business blog. A woman-hating male reader had tracked her down and almost killed her (hurting her in all of the ways a man can hurt a woman). I didn’t want that to happen to me.
So JS set up a blog and allowed me to write anonymously for him. I wrote a blog post every day for several years until he died (of cancer while he was in his early 30’s). Then I set up my own blog (using what he taught me about remaining anonymous) and have been blogging daily about business ever since then.
Whenever I write about a venture capitalist or financier, I think about JS and how generous and supportive he was. I think Logan Ross, the hero of One Night With My Billionaire Master, and JS would have been good friends.

In One Night With My Billionaire Master, Arianna St. James, the heroine, works for St. James Communications, her family’s company. This is a television service (a combination of cable and broadcast) company.
In Canada, there are two very large family-controlled television service companies – Rogers Communications controlled by the Rogers family (valued at 7.4 billion dollars) and Shaw Communications controlled by the Shaw family (valued at 2 billion dollars). I know friends who work closely with the family members and executives at each company.
Eric Hixon & his wife, Melinda Rogers, Oscar de la Renta, Loretta Rogers, Suzanne & her husband, Edward Rogers
Loretta is the mother of Melinda and Edward.
Edward is the Chair of the family trust. Melinda is Co-Chair.
These two families have fiercely fought over turf and customers for generations. There’s respect for the other family but, in the past, there have also been some bitter feuds. One family would walk into an event. The other family would leave.

None of these external feuds, however, rival the struggle for control within the companies. I sat down (virtually) with Laurell Emily Grey for a short interview. Today is the release day for Laurell Emily Grey’s The Nymph’s Oath, an erotic fairy tale and her debut as a published writer. Woot! Congrats, Laurell!
Cynthia Sax: Where did you get the idea for The Nymph’s Oath?
Laurell Emily Grey: This is the first story I have ever written and so I found my ideas from the story in various places. As a reader, I adore menages where the female is the center of attention, there’s just something about the spark of having two (or more) men share you. This is where I found my first idea for the story. Another idea involves my love for the Greeks. As a child, I was always hyped up to read and learn about the Greek gods and goddesses of old. They always fascinated me.
As a married woman with a very territorial hubby, boundaries are set (he does not share well with others. And I of course, am the same vise versa.)
But, what if it wasn’t that way? What if my hubby shared me with another man? And we were all destined to be together…What if we could live in a world surrounded by the paranormal..
What if my idea for my readers were not just to write a hot erotic read but…my intentions were to open the minds of the readers?
And boom, with those little ideas, I created an alternative universe where it was possible to live out my fantasies (as well as other readers) within my writing.
Cynthia Sax: How does The Nymph’s Oath begin?
Laurell Emily Grey: Oh the first scene, the Prologue!! This scene is actually crucial for the readers out there. The story starts back hundreds of years ago, and it all starts with a nymph.
I started the story here because the events that take place in this scene, will actually change the world for all nymph kind forever. This is where the Oath is created.
Cynthia Sax: Where is The Nymph’s Oath set?
Laurell Emily Grey: The story is set on the paranormal island of Mana. This is where most of the paranormal creatures reside (not all.) And one reason why this location is so sexy is because when the Nymph’s Oath begins, there is a huge celebration. Long story short, Zeus really likes to watch nymphs get their freak on in public, huge love fest. (Zeus is such a pervert.)
Cynthia Sax: Is The Nymph’s Oath part of a series and will you be writing more stories in this series?
Laurell Emily Grey: Yes!! This is this first book of The Nymph’s Oath series. I plan on having 4 books total in the series, unless my fans beg me for more haha. And if the fans want more, I will give it to them.

Sinful Rewards 12 – Bee’s Meltdown
One of the questions I receive from readers is ‘Why does Bee completely melt down over the condom breaking?”
This statement is key for our heroine
“Having seen the tabloid talk shows and lived the reality, I know no man wants an oops baby.”
The oops is important. She feels, if she’d been planned, her father might have stayed, her mother wouldn’t have struggled financially and would have been accepted by the residents of their small town.

Yes, she melts down (this IS what she believes to be her worst nightmare coming true) but then she picks herself off the floor (literally) and deals directly with the situation. She wouldn’t have done that in Sinful Rewards 1. She would have ran, avoiding the situation.

Logan’s lips lift into one of his rare smiles. “Dance with me.” This is a command, not a request. He leads me onto the floor. “It’s expected.” He swings me into position, his maneuvering graceful and sure.
It is expected. In the past, he has arrived at events, sought me out for a dance, and then departed immediately after our exchange.
His focus on me means nothing. If I say this statement enough times, I might believe it. I bend my left arm, layering my limb over his. Logan clasps my right hand tightly. Our bodies come together and we move as one.
This isn’t the rigid proper waltz I learned at ballroom dance class. It is rolling and sensuous, like the undulation of muscle under skin. One, two, three. One, two, three. There’s no thinking, no talking, only feeling, reacting. Logan steps forward. I step back. He turns. I follow.
Our hips brush together, my skirt swirling around his black pants. I gaze at his sharp chin, firm lips, feeling delicate, womanly, trusting him to guide me, to keep me safe.

“People already gossip.” Logan leans into me. “They see how we dance, speculate that we fuck as passionately.” His crudeness stimulates, rather than shocks me. “They suspect your sweet pussy is filled with my cum, that my love bites decorate the curve of your ass and my scent is on your skin,” he breathes into my hair and I warm, all over. “Everyone here knows you’re mine.”
I stare at him, my thoughts obliterated by his words.

Speculation has been dogging me since birth. Heads turn and people whisper as we pass them. This isn’t a new phenomenon. I’m always being observed.
Except tonight, the murmurs aren’t as loud. The disdainful looks aren’t as direct. I glance up at Logan, knowing he’s the cause. The billionaire investor scares the shit out of everyone, and, by being with him, I’m protected. I’m no longer alone.
Logan opens the balcony door and we step onto the terrace, the structure overlooking the gardens. The cool night breeze sweeps over my flushed cheeks, a thousand ghostly fingers stroking my bare skin, fluttering my knee-length skirt.
I shiver.
“You’re cold.” He shrugs out of his jacket, his shirt stark white against the darkness, and he drapes the garment over my shoulders.
I draw the tuxedo jacket closer to me, savoring his body heat, his cologne, a mixture of spice, musk, and him, clinging to the fabric. “Thank you, Mr. Ross.” Wearing his clothing feels decadently intimate, the act arousing me.
“Thank you, Logan.” His tone is stern. “When we’re alone, you’ll call me by my first name. When we’re in a scene, you’ll address me as sir.”
He knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to demand it. My body hums with appreciation. I can please a man like him. “How will I know when we’re in a scene?” The BDSM websites he directed me to never explained that detail.
“You’ll know.” Logan grazes his fingertips over my cheeks, his touch agonizingly gentle. “It’s like dancing.
