Enjoying The Now
I’m a planner. I like to have goals and to-do lists and A PLAN.
(Which is ironic because, when writing, I’m definitely a pantser, someone who writes without a plan.)
The world is changing very, very quickly at the moment.
I don’t know what will happen next, for example, with romance writing. Will my stories be listed at booksellers tomorrow? I don’t know.
So I’m changing it up a bit. I’m trying my best to live in the moment.
I’m focusing on enjoying the now.
When I shovel snow now, for example, I direct my full attention on the little patch in front of me. I savor the fluffiness of that snow. I admire how perfectly white it is. I gaze at the sparkle of the sun’s rays reflecting off its surface. I embrace the cold and consider myself lucky that we have the different seasons. I’m grateful for the snowpack gardeners and farmers in my area greatly need.
This attitude is increasing my happiness level and it is decimating my stress levels.
Consider pushing away the future for a moment. And disregard the past.
Enjoy the present with everything you have.

We are fortunate to be on this awesome planet, to be living in the time of dragonflies and blue whales.

Cyborg Sizzle Homeland Omnibus

A cyborg warrior and a Rebel female’s first mission together might be their last.
Arsenal considers himself to be a disposable cyborg. He drifts from assignment to assignment, forming no connections to anything or anyone. When the cyborg council requires a warrior for a high-risk mission, Arsenal volunteers. He believes no one will miss him if he dies. He doesn’t realize he’s one female’s fantasy.

Gardening – Sleepy Bees
It is getting cooler in my corner of the universe. And that means many insects are searching for places to warm up and places to sleep.
We spotted this cute little bumblebee sleeping on one of our zinnia flowers. She is being warmed by the sun’s rays.
The squash and zucchini/courgette flowers are favorite places for bumblebees and other bees to sleep. Almost every flower is occupied by at least one bee every morning.
And the sunny side of our brick home draws many insects like this little dragonfly. Did you know dragonflies are older than the dinosaurs? They truly are tiny dragons. (smiles.)

Claiming Cure
A proud cyborg medic meets his human match.

Cyra has tasks to complete before she dies.
