Moonbeam And A Great Place To Land
A reading buddy asked why aliens would choose Moonbeam, a small Northern Ontario, Canada town, to visit.
There are a number of reasons.
It is a small town. It is a contained and manageable introduction to humans.
There’s a lot of uninhabited land. Which means there is plenty of space to land ships. And the airspace isn’t as monitored so ships can land and takeoff with no human interference.
Anyone living in Moonbeam at this point of time also either believes in aliens or they are open to the possibility of alien visitors. Moonbeam is often called the Roswell of the North. It attracts people who believe in aliens. It is an alien tolerant town. (grins)
And that creates a circular situation. People living there believe in aliens so aliens feel comfortable landing there which, in turn, strengthens the locals’ belief that aliens are visiting us.

Moonbeam And Predator FanFic
I LOVE the Predator movies. My favorite is the dang romantic Alien Vs Predator (this movie is NOT a romance as there is no romantic happy ever after or for now ending for our human heroine and alien hero).
The aliens in Moonbeam remind me of the aliens in the Predator movies.
They have ridges…ALL over. (grins) They’re big and broad and built like warriors. They’re also green and often another color.
