My Awesome Mom And An Electric Toothbrush

By on October 19, 2024

While chatting with my Awesome Mom on the phone a few days ago, I asked her what she wanted for Christmas this year.

She thought about it for a while and then she said, “I’d like an electric toothbrush for Christmas.” She explained that her dentist suggested she get one and why.

I told her that was an easy present. She should consider it done.

I sent the Dear Wonderful Hubby an email adding an electric toothbrush to our shopping list.

Moments later, my Awesome Mom told me she might have already asked my eldest brother for one. She was a bit loopy after the dentist appointment and might have said something about ot.

I laughed and told her that was a bit more difficult but I’d reach out to him and ensure he hadn’t bought an electric toothbrush for her.

I sent an email to my eldest brother, copying the Dear Wonderful Hubby on it, asking if he made that purchase.

My Awesome Mom then added that she might have mentioned it to my middle sister also. She wasn’t sure. And she might have mentioned it to HER sister.

I laughed again and said I’d send out a group email and ensure she wasn’t getting 50 toothbrushes for Christmas.

My Awesome Mom laughed and said that might be best.

I sent the group email, copying the Dear Wonderful Hubby on it.

When the Dear Wonderful Hubby came home, he, of course, teased me about how his inbox was overflowing with a gazillion emails about electric toothbrushes. (grins)

A proud cyborg medic meets his human match.

***

Cyra has tasks to complete before she dies.

There are patients to heal, a dangerous mission to undertake, and a world to save. She doesn’t have time to entertain uninvited guests.

Especially one coldhearted cyborg medic who thinks he’s better than her.

The male might be breathtakingly handsome. His sternly set lips might be extremely kissable. And his touch might draw out a passion she didn’t think she was capable of feeling.

But he’s also a distraction, one that might doom millions of innocent beings to a painful, horrible death.

Cure isn’t emotionless. He feels…greatly. Listening to that malfunction has caused other beings pain and suffering in the past.

He refuses to allow his desires to cloud his judgment now.

His resolve is tested when he’s forced to associate with the most provoking, alluring medic in the universe.

Cyra is his genetic match, the one being in the universe he is fated to protect, touch, claim. She’s clever and beautiful, and the need to hold her almost downs his systems.

But now is not the time to indulge his great wanting.

Cure has an assignment to complete.

If he fails to accomplish his goals, everyone he cares for, including his human female, will die.
