Strike Zone, the first core story in the Dauntless Cyborgs series (releasing in February), is with my Awesome Editor. I love this story so fraggin’ much.
You might be thinking…if the editing process has started, why will Strike Zone release in February and not in January?
It will release in February due to the holidays. Editors like to take holidays also. (grins) As do writers. Our families kind of expect to see us. Plus there’s holiday baking. Who doesn’t like holiday baking?
Everything takes a bit longer over the holidays. And that’s okay.
This week, I’ll be relaxing and I’ll start to think about the next story. I haven’t yet decided if it will center around Drift, the Dauntless’s pilot, or Cure, the Dauntless’s medic. These two stories happen over the same timeline so either one could be next.
Have a wonderful week, my friends. (tackle hugs) Indulge in some of that yummy holiday baking (either the eating of it or the baking of it). Consider treating a few birds to some birdseed, their version of holiday baking. (grins) If the squirrels indulge in some of that birdseed, hey, that’s okay. Not all gifts end up with the beings we intended to give them to. That’s one of the quirks of this wonderful life!

Cyborg vs. Valkyrie
