The world can be a bit…much lately. Changes are occurring and not all of them are positive.
I highly recommend all of us find our happy places.
And these happy places can be different for everyone.
One of my happy places is the garden or any type of plant. When I’m feeling stressed or upset or unhappy, I go and find a plant. This could be a dandelion growing between the cracks in the pavement or one of the snake plants in the living room or some other green growing thing. When I find that plant, I sit down and I look at it for while. If I can, I touch the soil or the leaves. This usually calms my wild a$$ down.
One of the Dear Wonderful Hubby’s happy places is vacation planning. He chooses a destination and then he plots out an imaginary or real vacation for us. He watches all the videos, looks at all the flights, even explores the restaurants we might eat at. That makes him happy.
Figure out what your happy place is. And go there when the world gets overly stressful.
