I think of this quote from Voltaire often during this time of year.
Many of us are trying to create the perfect holiday, the perfect dinner, the perfect party. We’re searching for the perfect gifts for loved ones. We want to look perfect for them and for ourselves.
And that can mess with our true goals – to have a good time, to make others and ourselves feel good.
Perfect isn’t achievable but happiness is!
