Crash was manufactured to be one of the best warriors in the universe. The cyborg has spent many human lifespans fighting the enemy. But, unlike his battle-loving brethren, he doesn’t enjoy killing. When he escapes the Humanoid Alliance, he vows to never end another life.

Then he meets Safyre, an infuriating human female, and he considers breaking his vow.

Safyre will do anything to save her friend, the being she loves like a sister. She’ll ravish a huge hunky cyborg, kiss his best friend, and invoke scorching hot desires the male never realized he could feel. Dark soulful eyes, a quick wit, and a tempestuous passion won’t divert her from her mission.

Love, and a planet-destroying weapon, however, might stop her permanently.

Hey Ms.Sax!!! So just wanted to start off by saying your cyborg series is absolutely awesome!!! The characters are well developed and very easy to fall in love with. Amazing author you are!!! After waiting for a while to read Crash’s story, and then hoping to read Gap’s (first one) soon after, I finally got my hands on it. I was so so so heart broken when things happened the way they did in regards to Gap. I mean like I really felt it. I saw a few posts on Amazon from some fellow readers as well and I think we all felt the same way. My question to you is…do you ever plan to bring Gap and Nymphia back? I know what happened and it may seem like a stretch but being that this is sci-fi and your imagination is the bomb-dot-com anything is possible right? I don’t know maybe bring them back in different bodies or have them barely survive and forget everything? I know it’s a reach but I was just hoping to see them again somehow? If not why out of all of the cyborgs did you decide to kill Gap instead of another cyborg that we didn’t really build a rapport with? I know this cyborg series is dark but it seems like less of a happy ending when one of the main characters was sadly killed off. He didn’t even get to make any memories with Nymphia.

(hugs Joey) I hear you about Gap and Nymphia. That tore my heart out. I cried for days and I doubt I’ll ever write another story like that again. The issue is… with Releasing Rage, he had Rage and Crash to protect him. With Crash And Burn, he only had Crash to protect him and Crash couldn’t protect everyone. Gap was too innocent, too spontaneous, too romantic to survive in such a brutal world. Nymphia was the same way. They would have either rushed into danger again and again until they got killed or they would have had to change dramatically and then they wouldn’t have been the beings they were. They won’t be returning but their legacy will live forever. One of the interesting things about the cyborgs (and the thing that breaks Ghost, whose story I’m releasing in May) is they share information and they NEVER forget. Every cyborg in existence, every cyborg who will ever exist, will know about Gap and the sacrifice he made for Nymphia. In that way, they will live forever.
